Noblesse Oblige v0.10.1.4 Hotfix

I've identified a crash that can rarely occur when Alexander gets KOed by the second or later hit of a physical multi-hit attack. This bug has been in the game since basically forever, it just came out much more prominently in v0.11. So, I'm updating the public version as well to get rid of it. The Steam version has also been updated.

  1. Another similar report. During the first scene showing the throneroom of Antipater, after sleeping in the tent. After Victoria and Calysia leave the throneroom, you can still see their headpieces at the bottom of the screen.

  2. I don't know if it's contitional, but entering the inn, after starting chapter 1 the ground beneath the stool on the right of the dividing wall, keeping the restaurant from the stage, is different than all the rest.

    1. Thanks for the reports. Will fix the other and check this one.

  3. In the Hybernia Inn, there's a black rectangle on the bottom right fourth of the teaset-sprite.
Also something in general that I noticed was quite annoying is that the main menu always has the default sound settings, which in my case means I have to seriously tone done my speaker while navigating it, because it's incredibly loud.

    1. Try adjusting the sound settings once per new version (unless on Steam)? I did update them to be stored in the Settings.txt file so they could apply in the main menu, but this file does not persist across new versions on the non-steam version, so it needs to be re-registered to that file (you can also just copy your old settings.txt to each new version). It -should- persist across versions on the Steam version as I've told Steam builds not to overwrite this file, but I'll double check that this is working when I get the chance.

    2. I am on the steam version and the sound settings don't persist in the main menu when starting the game up, only after loading a save with adjusted settings.

    3. I can't replicate this behavior. I went on steam, changed sound settings, re-launched the game, and the change persisted on the main menu.

    4. It may be worth trying to re-change the settings once and see if that makes them take properly. If not, I'll investigate further, but I suspect it's just a case of the settings not having been propagated into your current version of settings.txt. In the future I may investigate ways of making these auto-propagate to the settings file when you load a save if the file has no saved settings.

    5. Trying it again, it seemed to work this time. I definetly know I changed the sound settings a few days ago because I started a new save. Maybe it reset it after a steam update?

    6. Definitely possible. I'll try to double check that that file is marked as one that shouldn't be overwritten.

    7. I think I found the issue. Let me know if it resets again next time the version updates.

  4. Also when Ligaea goes out in Hypernia, you can see the top of Ariadne's hair peeking out the top of her bed. Since you can't see any other part of her body in that scene, it would probably be best to just make her invisible.
